Sold Sorter Privacy Policy

Effective September 26, 2026

Sold Sorter runs entirely in your browser. It has no server of its own, it does not collect analytics, and the developer does not receive your browsing data. The only outside service it talks to is ExtensionPay, and only to check whether you have a Pro subscription or trial.

What Sold Sorter reads

Sold Sorter only runs on eBay search results pages and eBay category pages. On those pages it reads the listings shown to you (the item number, title, price, shipping cost, sold count and seller name) so that it can show a sold badge on each listing and sort the results.

eBay's search pages often leave out the full number sold, so Sold Sorter can open eBay listing pages in the background to read the total. These requests go directly from your browser to eBay, the same as if you had clicked on the listing yourself. Sold Sorter reads the start of each listing page, takes the sold count, and stops. It does not read or store your eBay account details, messages, watchlist or purchase history.

If you use Pro to sort several pages at once, Sold Sorter loads the next pages of the same eBay search from your browser in the same way.

What Sold Sorter stores

Sold Sorter stores the following in your browser's extension storage (in Chrome or Microsoft Edge) on your own computer:

None of this is sent to the developer or to anyone else.

Payments and Pro

Pro subscriptions and free trials are handled by ExtensionPay, and payments are processed by Stripe. When you start a trial or subscribe, you enter your email address and payment details on ExtensionPay's and Stripe's own pages, not inside the extension. Sold Sorter never sees your card details.

To know whether Pro is active, the extension keeps a random ExtensionPay key in your browser's synced extension storage and asks extensionpay.com for the status of that key. The developer can see the email address and subscription status of paying and trial users in the ExtensionPay dashboard, and uses them only to provide Pro and to answer support requests. ExtensionPay's and Stripe's own privacy policies describe how they handle your information.

Problem reports and saved files

If you click "Report a problem", your email program opens a new message that includes the address of the eBay page you were on and some technical details, such as how many listings Sold Sorter found. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email.

"Save page for tests" and the CSV export save files to your computer. They are not uploaded anywhere.
